Where Creativity Meets the Light
We celebrate work through three defining elements of Lisbon: Tiles, Tides and Time. We look for ideas shaped by cultural richness, crafted to endure, and powerful enough to travel beyond the moment. This is creativity with depth, resonance and lasting value.
Our Judging Lens: Tiles, Tides, and Time
To guide our entrants and our Grand and Excellence Juries, we view every entry through three defining elements of Lisbon:
Tiles: We celebrate the mosaic of stories and cultures. We seek craftsmanship that is built to endure, not just designed to win, and ultimately to build a lasting legacy.
Tides: Atlantic in spirit, we value ideas that move like water, not necessarily the fastest, but those that travel the furthest and ultimately surprise us.
Time: We believe the best work doesn't just respond to a fleeting moment; it expands it and gives it deeper meaning.
Join us in this "Miradouro" of global creativity. Pause, look out, and let your work be seen clearly.
Why Submit to the Lisbon Ad Festival?
Joining our festival is more than just entering a competition; it is about placing your work in a global "Miradouro" of excellence.
The Lisbon Festivals were not created simply to celebrate great work, showcase talent, or add another stage for industry best practice.
Our model is deliberately collaborative. Across the festivals, agency and client leaders will judge side by side. Creative leaders will help evaluate marketing effectiveness, and marketing leaders will help evaluate creative excellence.
Our ambition is to reflect the reality of today’s industry more accurately, and to promote a more relevant, lasting way of evaluating brands, ideas, and creative value.
About the Awards
A Legacy of Evolution
Now entering its 11th edition, the Lisbon Advertising Festival has reached a pivotal moment of transformation. This year, we evolve beyond traditional boundaries to align our celebration of creativity with the very soul of Lisbon, moving deeper, slower, and more deliberately to honour work that truly glows.
Award Categories & Evaluation Criteria
Our program is structured across 9 Core Pillars, designed to encompass the full spectrum of modern communication. Every entry is meticulously evaluated through our unique "Lisbon Lens".
Joining Forces
The 2026 President of the Executive Jury is Gabriel Schmitt, Global Chief Creative Officer at Grey. Under his leadership, a hand-picked assembly of global creative leaders will gather in Lisbon from June 10 to 12, ensuring that every piece of work is judged with the "slow thinking" nuance it deserves.
